Hello,
My name is Katie Thurlby and I love to capture the precious lovely moments of pregnancy, birth and new life and anything precious and/or lovely. I feel so blessed to be invited into the lives of so many beautiful couples to capture the beauty, miracle and wonder of their babies earliest moments on this earth.
Every child is precious and lovely in their own way and I am passionate about capturing the natural beauty of their unique personalities and those of their mummies and daddies through my photography.
I do not follow rules with my photography or use pre-determined shots but prefer to use my creative mindset in the moment. I do not shoot in a studio but prefer to capture moments in the comfort of the family home, a special location or outdoors in the natural environment as I feel that this encourages a more relaxed, natural and organic feel to my photography.
